The Last Exile - VanShip

Personal project based on the Vanship Racer from Anime film The Last Exile

Probably one of my favourite vehicle models . I really love the simplisity of the overall shape with the tiny added details and flowing extrusions. The detailed rivits are modeled using splines created from the original shape.

I could have created a displacment map but i envisaged rendering some insainly close shots and didnt want to compromise on any detail.
